Data Processing and Analysis for ROV/AUV

Eonfusion offers innovative solutions for hydrographers involved in ROV/AUV work. Eonfusion easily integrates into existing workflows to extend the capabilities of applications such as HYPACK, CARIS, and the ESRI suite.

Eonfusion's unique visual dataflow model enables the user to create processing templates which can be tailored to a variety of applications. Each template or dataflow provides a cutting-edge integration environment which allows for data sets to be fused, combined, interpolated, and intersected.

Eonfusion's powerful time-slider feature allows multiple 3D data sets and 2D graphs to be temporally linked to provide a unique method of integrated analysis. The inclusion of a C/C# development module enables users to fully customize the processing chain.

AUV and ROV work such as inspection and archaeology are enhanced in Eonfusion with the ability to fuse video data and AUV and ROV track lines, and quickly identify and tag segments of interest for further analysis.

Points, lines, and surfaces can be fully customized to visualize multiple attributes simultaneously and thus enable the analyst to make hypotheses about trends and relationships present in collected data.

This image shows a 4D scene containing bathymetry data (lower) with difference grid (above) computed from reference data. Motion data is visualized as a 3D time series embedded within the difference grid and color coded to show extreme vessel motion. The green swath is an XYZ cloud overlaid on the bathymetry surface and color coded for sonar data quality. Multiple 2D graphs are linked to the time slider in the 3D scene. Several types of probes are included to compute distances as well as to tag segments of the vessel track for further analysis.
