Repetitive multibeam bathymetry data collected over the Monterey Canyon head has been used to detect changes in the morphology between the surveys in Spring 2003 to Fall 2006 (Image 1/2) and then from Fall 2006 to Winter 2006 (Image 2/2). In Eonfusion the depth attribute from the previous survey is transferred onto the current survey so the difference in depth can be calculated.
In the Eonfusion scene the data is coloured according to change in morphology (a colour ramp of dark blue indicating erosion through to white for no change to dark red indicating deposition - yellow indicates no data). Eonfusion's time slider allows the user to easily transition between survey grids, view the changes and subsequently query them.
