ANNOUNCING THE EONFUSION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

You and your students are invited to apply for a free scholarship from Eonfusion! 

The Eonfusion team is soliciting innovative proposals from university students worldwide who are interested in applying Eonfusion to their projects.  Students interested in  environmental studies of all kinds are encouraged to apply.

Scholarship Awards

Scholarship award decisions will be based on:

  • Scientific merit
  • Innovative application
  • Ability to deliver results within a 6-month time frame

First prize winners receive a full copy of Eonfusion software with a 12 month license, online product support and access to the Eonfusion User Forum.  Four grand prize winners will receive all of the above plus $1,000 to cover costs associated with the presentation of your results at an appropriate symposium or conference.

Requirements

Students applying for scholarships must be students in good standing at an accredited institution, pursuing a research project in support of an academic degree (MS, PhD).  Preference will be given to those projects which fall into the marine, oceanographic and environmental research disciplines.

Proposals should be 2,000 words or less and should include the following information:

  • Applicant name, street address, email address, and phone number
  • Name of faculty advisor / professor, email address and phone number
  • A description of the project including objectives, a brief description of the methodology and intended outcomes
  • General timeline for research project (start date, end date, presentation date)
  • The conference or symposium where research results will be presented

Submitting a Proposal

Proposals should be submitted via email to info@eonfusion.myriax.com.  Please include "Eonfusion Scholarship Application" in the subject line.

Proposals are due by April 30, 2009

Winners will be announced by May 15, 2009.
