US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
National Oceanic Data Center (NODC) Directory. Directory of all of the archived data at the NODC.
National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) Digital Elevation Model (DEM) Discovery Portal. Catalog that links to web-published DEMs. DEMs may be bathymetric, topographic, or a merged combination of both.
NGDC Multibeam Bathymetric Data. Archive with over 15.7 million nautical miles of ship tracklines from sources worldwide.
National Ocean Service (NOS) Hydrographic Database. Contains survey coverage of the coastal waters and Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of the United States and its territories
National Weather Service rainfall data. Shapefiles containing data for the southeast United States and Puerto Rico updated twice per day.
NGDC Marine Geophysical Trackline Data. GEODAS Marine Trackline Geophysics database containing bathymetry, magnetics, gravity and seismic navigation data collected during marine cruises from 1953 to the present.
Great Lakes Bathymetry. Data for study of Great Lakes science, pollution, coastal erosion, response to climate changes, threats to lake ecosystems, and health of the fishing industry.
NGDC Tsunami Inundation Gridding Project. High-resolution, integrated bathymetric-topographic DEMs for select U.S. coastal regions in support of tsunami forecasting and modeling efforts at the NOAA Center for Tsunami Research Center

NGDC 3 Arc-Second Coastal Relief Model. Coastal Relief Gridded database providing comprehensive on the US Coastal Zone.
Global Relief (ETOPO1). ETOPO1 is a 1 arc-minute global relief model of Earth's surface that integrates land topography and ocean bathymetry.
North Carolina, 6 meters DEM. A DEM to study the impacts of long-term sea level rise on the coastal ecosystems in the sounds and estuaries of North Carolina.

National Water Information System (NWIS). Repository of water resources data includes data from more than 1.5 million sites, some in operation for more than 100 years

British Oceanographic Data Center (BODC)
General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans (GEBCO). Grided bathymetric data sets in NetCDF format and 1 arc-min and 30 arc-sec versions
CTD and underway data Atlantic Meridional Transect (AMT). The CTD, and continuous meteorological and oceanographic core measurements (underway data) from all cruises for the Atlantic Meridional Transect (AMT) programme available in a fixed ASCII (CSV) format .
International sea levels. International sea level data available from the the Global Sea Level Observing System (GLOSS), the World Ocean Circulation Experiment (WOCE) and the Climate Variability and Predictability (CLIVAR) programs.
